Nine-time World Rally Championship winner Sébastien Ogier and co-driver Julien Ingrassia were forced to retire from Rally Finland after a significant high-speed crash, despite leading the event. Both crew members received medical attention and spent a precautionary night in hospital.

BMW M Team WRT’s No. 20 crew comes within 10.9 seconds of overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, settling for a painful yet defining second place behind Toyota’s No. 7. The performance still marks BMW’s most significant Le Mans result in decades.

Toyota’s No 7 prototype won the 94th 24 Hours of Le Mans, ending Ferrari’s three-race winning streak. Nick De Vries, Kamui Kobayashi and Mike Conway delivered the Japanese marque’s first Le Mans victory in four years.
